Whiskey From A New Perspective

 

Context

  • We were approached by Sidecar, an agency that specializes in beverages, to help them create an atmospheric photo + video campaign for a disruptive whiskey upstart out of Waco, Texas.

Challenge

  • With no internal production division and ambitious creative, Sidecar employed Take Care to be their internal production arm and creative partner. We were coming in at the beginning stages of a burgeoning whiskey brand, and our work would help define their creative look and feel onwards.

 

Solution

  • With ambitious creative and a tight budget, we devised unique solutions to achieve the look and feel we wanted. For example, we partnered with a dude ranch in the deep countryside of Texas, which allowed us to have multiple locations in one and provide accommodations for the crew.

  • To bolster Sidecar’s team, Take Care employed an agency producer to work full-time on the project, overseeing it from pre-production through final delivery. Additionally, we hired the director before the scripts were finalized, allowing him to work hand in hand with Vokal creatives to create shooting scripts that were incredibly production-friendly.

  • Take Care served as both production company and post house, with final output from this campaign including a set of online spots + a photo campaign for OOH.
